PageRank crisis

It seems like the so-called crisis is affecting not only the financial markets, but also pagerank values!

We've been registering a lot of pagerank changes these last days, and most of them have been to adjust the pagerank to a lower value. Usually 0, or -1, that is, no pagerank at all!

Anyway, this isn't something you should worry too much about, as we've seen many times that getting a lower pagerank value gets followed on the next days with a recovery, and sometimes with an improvement on the pagerank. As if it was getting impulse to jump, you know :)

What about you? Have you noticed this change on your listings? Does it affect the number of visitors you're getting on your sites?

Pregunta/Recomendacion:

My blog passed from pagerank 3 to -1 a week ago, as if penalized by Google. I hope you're right and pr gets restored. It hasn't affect my visitors, though with their numbers increasing due to my posting.
Cheers

Hola Manu, estoy pensando en ello. Quizá sea así en el futuro, entrar directamente por email.

Hey Ted, this kind of thins is normal, you can see many pages with similar fluctuations, getting down to 0 or -1 and then up again!

yes, I just noticed that some of the PR values for newer pages went from 0 to -1! What does -1 mean? Shouldn't it mean they were de-indexed?

Yet I see these pages still ranking highly in SERPs - are you sure it isn't some bug?

OK, I decided to check this by bringing up the page ranked -1 by PRA and its google toolbar rank is 0, not -1 (which I've never seen from google!)

more info - this seems like a pretty interesting anomaly. PRA says the page http://tickets.gruvr.com/band/Pussycat-Dolls/ has PR -1, yet it ranks #1 - numero uno - for its keywords, "pussycat dolls tickets" - which is highly competitive, with almost 1M other results...

Hey everybody, PR -1 means "no pagerank", or "not indexed". It's a common state, that normally occurs when a page is so new that it has no PR at all (PR 0 means it has a PR of 0, but it indeed has a PR value... -1 is that it has no PR at all).

Although this occurs normally when a page is new, I've seen many pages pass through the -1 state temporarily, when changing to a higher value. It's like it's been resetted or something, you know... 3, -1, 4...
